  Was given a price for a clutch change but when the bill came it was double (3k!) apparently he slotted me in quick as it was urgent hence the price. Within a few days I had fluid leaking from the car but the garage was closed for Christmas and as I needed the car I had to take it to another garage. It was fixed for £200 as a seal was damaged when the clutch was changed. I should have gone back but I get the feeling they would have denied any problems. Have part exchanged the Freelander now and it was a couple of years back so I have passed on the bills with the car so the owner has history (full history since new by main dealer, first time I used Steve Hill) otherwise I would have copies available. It's a shame as they were recommended but I was warned they were pricey but didn't expect it that high and would expect a perfect job at that price. Didn't want to complain but it's been eating away at me so thought it was time to pass on.
