  update The response below from the owner to the post below indicates they offered a discount as a way of rectifying this matter. NO DISCOUNT large/ small or considerable has or was offered in the telephone conversations I had with them today. You will also see we asked for the shed to be delivered after Christmas due to needing time of work to erect it. Yet below as recompense for incorrect and misleading written quotes they offer to build and deliver it quicker ? And finally today we find yesterday price increase on the original quote was also wrong the actually increase is over a thousand pound higher then the written quote .visit their Facebook page to see the original quote After spending some considerable time with the sales colleague 11 days ago and going into detail with him about my shed requirements and being informed by the sales colleague that he would be one of the people building our shed if we went ahead with the quote. Then going through the well laid out yard and being shown the style of shed and timber that would be used on our chosen shed and roofing options. We were given and Received a written quote showing both the requirements and size agreed too on the shed and it also showed the quoted written price for the shed. When asking twice before leaving if there was likely to be any increase in the price if we waited until after Christmas we were specifically told the price would not be changing .We explained we needed to remove our existing shed and check the base was intact before committing to the sale once done we would be back. Well 11 days later we have returned having spent 3 days taking down and finding somewhere to store the sheds contents while making room for this new one . The response we have received when returning to accept their written quote that we spent so long going over with the sales man. Making sure it was correct and filled our requirements . We are now told is incorrect and we will need to pay nearly an extra 8-900 pound ???????A written quote with detailed information and specifications is not the same as an estimated price and so can not change. We however are now left in limbo having made arrangements ,removed an existing shed and taken financial decisions ALL based on a written quote given to us by this company. We have also now wasted an entire day of work driving there to find they wish to increase the price of a custom made items written and agreed quote and we are left to go home and wait for a phone call from the manager ! I hope to be able to update this review after speaking to the manager tomorrow if i receive the phone call.! Currently I am very understandably angry at this business as I have removed an existing shed have all of its contents stacked and stored so unobtainable or usable and now Wasted an entire precious day of work ,. 11 days ago before visiting fountain timber products I was in the position of choosing whether or not to purchase a new shed.Now I am being held to ransom and forced to accept this higher then verbally and written agreed quoted price by them. As I am now in a position where I have NO choice but buy a new shed as I now have no shed ..All because I accepted and believed their written quoted specifications and price.
